feeling rough again this week - went back to work after 10 days off last week and this week I feel as if i have a water infection.  Feeling really down.

Anyway, am managing to do a couple more layouts - and enjoying the Winter Olympics on For the love of pretty paper - Facebook.  Have had both my Mind The Scrap kit and the Lottie Loves paper kits this week which has cost me nearly £60.  I have to knock one on the head in January, but which one?  I think it will be the Lottie loves paper one though as it's more expensive.

This was being on a team or a group photo - it was hard to do this layout as I did not want to include any more people who I work with in my personal albums, i don't like most of them and the ones i can tolerate really are only just about tolerating - one girl I have more time for though and only one x 

This was a Saturday Sketch Challenge - once a month of For the love of pretty paper they put up a challenge on the first saturday of the month - it was to scrap as near to as the sketch, this was pretty close.

And No. 10 winter olympics - I am now up to date completely until Thursday - was to scrap with wood.  The word Wonderful is wood which I painted.  Bloody typical have had to buy a new tree this year and new lights and then I dropped the huge box of baubles and so I had to buy new baubles too - so all in all it's going to cost around £100 or more to put the tree up this year.  I really do need to cut back on ALL spending in the new year.

This was a MINIMAL layout - as minimal as I could do - I am now contemplating just doing a bit of journaling on the right hand side of the photo ???  - infact I think I will x 

more layouts

challenge was to only scrap top half of the page - this is a rescrap of a 2011 photo of me - 7 years old.  wish I looked this young still even though when I first had this pic taken i thought i looked old.  lol x 

this was to scrap without any scissors or punches or tools etc - so the page was ripped and a folded piece of paper.  I have since added a scroll down the right hand side which was cut on the cuttlebug.  don't particularly like this layout and hate the man in the photo - so it may have to be rescrapped.

the challenge was to do 5 circles across the page - little miss trying hard to get on the therapy chair i had in my treatment room.  love that little girl even though she is such a hectic child and on the go constantly.  

A cute Bronchitis

Nothing cute about it !  felt rough for a couple of weeks - chest is so tender and sore .... still sneezing and cough cough coughing - now have antibiotics.

anyhoo - have done a layout in the week when i felt a bit stronger and a layout today even though i am cough cough coughing - tired and worn out really - making sure i have a very relaxed weekend.

this was a challenge that had to be a minimalist layout - but don't think it was minimalist enough after i finished it - should have added the journaling to the stars paper and cut it all down a little bit more.  The layout picture of our Korin in Keirs Superman outfit which I was going to make a skirt for for Korin to use as a Supergirl outfit - but she played in it anyway without the skirt - I used to love making things for the kids - don;'t know where I found the time but remember sewing loads and loads of stuff - with a dining room chair in front of me and the old singer sewing machine on top of the chair - wish I could get back into those times, just being a bit more carefree, I overthink everything,

Think this chest infection/bronchitis has really gotten to me - I feel so down in the dumps.

But keir came and took me to PC world to look at laptops and then Smyths to get Lunas last presents from me and Key and then to Morrisons - luna fell asleep so they went home and I was on my own again .............. did come up to my desk and start a layout - cooked tea - ate a huge huge huge bowl of icecream, feel sicker than sick - and then finished said layoit which the picture is below.  And now it's half 10 again on a Sunday night - but the good news is that Korin has a day off tomorrow and coming to see me and luna and maybe we will take her to the soft play centre - PLUS I need to go to Keirs in the morning to wait in for the carpet people to restretch their carpets !  All go isn't it - Will have Tuesday in with Luna maybe just a walk round the block and then Wednesday I will take her to the play group again as she really did enjoy it last week.

A few from this week

I have had a flu type bug and not really felt like crafting.  I had wednesday off from luna and ended up lying around the house all day as I felt so rough.......then went to work on Thursday and by 9 pm was in bed as I felt really rough, Friday morning I felt as if I had a throat full of razor blades and cough cough coughing again runny nose and so overwhelmed with tiredness ............ aches and pains, so didn't go to work again.  I hate not going to work they must think I am lazy. 

So today felt really bad this morning but a bit better this evening.  Still very tired and worn out though and my laptop is playing up big time !

Again the day out with korin and me with lunapants to the garden centre - those reindeer were singing it was so funny ............... and the first proper signs of christmas - Christmas is only 5 weeks away feel so far behind.

although I do have my turkey and pork joint and sausages for the pigs in blankets and nearly all lunas presents, just got to shop for everyone else now !  NIGHTMARE x

Crafting - not as much as in the summer

It always seems such hard work to come upstairs and craft when it's dark and raining outside and my craft room feels cold and dark.................. but I've done a few over the last couple of weeks, certainly slowed down tremendously since the Summer.  AND I really must get some exercising done too.

Love these fabby flowers die that I bought them come out beautifully.

Keir 12 years old he's just celebrated his 31st Birthday so next year that photo will be 20 years old.  OMG time rushes by 

Did this one tonight - didn't really fancy coming up to my craft room being so cold today but needed to do something, hate sitting watching TV all the time.  Lunas First Birthday pics and it';s nearly time for her 2nd Birthday pics - time flashes by I keep saying that x

I miss Korin so much

We were always out and about at the wekends,  OK spending too much money but we were always out and about - I don't like doing everything on my own but now I have to.  I zm happy that she has found someone who loves her and that they go out and about together, but even walking the dog they now do that together and I walk Ben on my own.  I love the fact that she is happy.......but I am lonely.  x

Where has the last number of days gone

Been on holiday from work - didn't go away - BIG mistake.  Had a bad week, everyone seemed to be uptight and stressed.

Keirs Birthday tomorrow - love you son.

Had luna monday, tuesday, wednesday - thursday morning when her mom went to the dentist and then we all went out to lichfield thursday afternoon.  Then Friday morning for the choosing of the flowers for the wedding.  Saturday, last night - was a meal at Portobello Restaurant.  It was nice, can;t say it was outstanding  just had pizza - and it was £200 with the fresh cream we bought for the chocolate cake that alison made for Keir for his birthday.  It was so lush, but I felt so sick by the time I got home.

Korin never seems to be quite with us when she's out with tod I really hope things are good for her right now and she hasn't made a big mistake.  She had the week off too and goes back to work tomorrow but I haven'[t really seen much of her apart from her looking after luna whilst I had things to do.  my house is a tip.

I am now off monday tuesday wednesday and no luna as they are going on a holiday for 5 days, I hope they have a wonderful time.  I love them all so much.  AND snow is threatened - bloody weather it has gone exceptionally cold.

I need to get accounts done for the accountant and the drawers all sorted and shredding done but apart from that and getting my wasing and housework up to date I have the rest of the time to scrap.  AND I really must must must get back on my diet - or healthy eating regime and lose this half a stone, bought a top for Christmas today it is tight it is a size 12 - if i lose half a stone I will be able to wear it and it will look nice for Christmas day - GILL JUST DO IT !

we had to take little salem to the vet this week

he is as skinny as skinny can be, I don;t know if we are cruel as his fur was all in matted clumps poor little man.  BUT the vet said it wasn't cruelty just that he won't let you get near him and he is very old and probably thyroid troubles..............he's still eating ................ probably has kidney problems.  I feel so guilty not cuddling them like I used to - I try to spend a little time with them but having luna too and the cats are so dirty with cat litter etc my house is dirty because of cat litter and the dog constanly via ing for attantion too - it's been qutie a nightmare.  I am so tired and worn out.  Got to get my house into some kind of shape soon.

If Salem lasts the weekend out I will be surprised.  I really don't want him to suffer butr I can;'t bring myself to have him put to sleep whilst he still can get around and eats and has little cuddles her and there. 

got to get some sleep.   I think more than anything else its the fact that we ahve had them 17 years and 17 years has absolutely flown by.  I love the cats dearly.  poor little mites. x x x

Me SMART - Nooooooooooooo

But I only just gone and sorted out bluetooth on my phone to my computer - whoopeee dooooooo = took me bloody ages but I done it and all by myself..   

So a few days ago I suddenly realised that my 'Kit subscriptions' were building up and I wasn't using the stuff that I had and still going out and buying more paper etc - my spending has been a bit better apart from this week because we are on annual leave from work, haven't gone anywehre AGAIN and so I paid for Novembers subscription to MTS - plus I bought a few more bits of ebay AND yet another alphabet AND as I cancelled the cats insurances I will be saving £70 a month - they've just put it up to nearly £100 a month so - I'd be saving that anyway...... more about poor little salem later. 

So a hectic week - Washing is piled up the wall so will have to tackle that tomorrow and Sunday although I don't have Luna monday tuesday or wednesday this week coming, so I can get all that sorted then too - but will have to do a bit of washing and housework etc. 

I need to get accounts done for Kay too - 1 million and one things to do so worn out.  Anyway, back to subscriptions and not using them so these layout will all now be done from the kits I have so I am no wasting money on extras.

NO more Alphas.  No more scrapbook stuff, I am going to use what I have and only buy the two kits per month.  I do though have a gelli plate on its way - I can't wait x

oh I might have gone and ordered another die set of flowers too which will make little flowers like these :

Mind The Scrap CC - 19th - 21st October.

It was really good...... only managed 7 challenges of the 17 that were posted ...... as I was out doing shoppinig and doing washing and vacuuming and got up late two days running - or later than usual, and had to go to Aldi.  Saturday I went out with Keir only for a Starbucks and then back to ours and then Sunday (today) we went to Monty's play barn and was there about an hour - before that we went to Korins for a cuppa and was there about an hour and Keir came there to meet ust.......now I have Luna for 3 days.  On wednesday I have my eye retina scan to go to - and Thursday we were going to Stratford for the day as Key is off and Korin too - then Ali wanted to come - which we were going to invite her anyway but hadn't got round to it = but find out that she has a dental appointment first thing so we may not set out until 11 am ish or even later !!  -  Friday morning Ali wanted me to go with her for flowers for the wedding so I am happy about doing that with her - and Saturday night we have Keirs Birthday meal - so I really must try and be good on my diet all this week - have had yet another bad weekend, non of my clothes will fit me at this rate !

Anyway, 7 layouts isn't too bad over a weekedn, a couple I think I don't particularly like ?  but I'm not too sure yet we'll see.  Another 12 x 12  album filled up too !
